Dear All,
I face a strange behaviour with Xcelsius 2008 and Live office (both in SP4). I have MS Office 2003 SP2.
When I create Live Office export outside Xcelsius, I can assign cells for prompts.
But
When I create Live Office export inside Xcelsius, I cannot anymore select, update, my objects and i cannot assign cells for prompts. The buttons are always in grey and i havent access on menu.
I am blocks on a project by customer that didn't short term projet to migrate to MS Office 2007.
Anybody had the same problem ? Any workaround ?
Thanks in advance
Cedric

Hi, I just receive an e-mail from sap support team...
Copy paste :
The Behavior which you observe inside Xcelsius with liveoffice options is limited to Office 2003 Sp3 version as it is by design in Xcelsius.
If you use Liveoffice inside Xcelsius on Microsoft Office 2003 ,You will not be able to use all the options inside it as they are grayed out.
Liveoffice inside Xcelsius works fine in Office 2007/2010 edition but it is always advised to use liveoffice outside Xcelsius and then consume the Excel Sheet having Liveoffice
connections.
If you use Office 2003 then the only workaround is to Export the Excel sheet outside the Xcelsius and use liveoffice.
In the Xcelsius release note Guide that mentions the behavior on page 14-15.
"Bad" news for all my MS Office 2003 customers who want use LO with Xcelsius.
Thanks
Cedric
