SRM 7.01 EHP1 , Do we need Live Auction as separate client?

Hi Guys,

Could any one help me on below issues please.

1) we are working on SRM 7.01 EHP1 PPS implementation. Do we need to have separate client for the live auction?

now we can able to create the auction document but click on live auction button, live auction cockpit is not opening.

2) If so what would be the required settings for the live auction cockpit?

Hello Babu,

For the query 1, from SRM 70 EHP1 there are two options provided to run the live auction. One is to run the live auction with Java on the LAC server and second is to run the Live auction with ABAP server, where you dont need to install the LAC server.

You can make use of your abap server to run the auction. Only the front end will be using the run time java environment from your local desktop system.

For query 2, YOu can check all the relevant settings under the configuration guides given for SRM 70 EHP1 release.
