fee calculation after deregistration

Hi,

I created a student.

I registrated the student to a program.

I deleted registration one minute later.

When I run fee calculation, fee is calculated an amount even I already deleted all registrations.

Why?

Are you using Cancelation reasons for the deregistrations? Have you setup the Academic Calendar with 0575 100% and 0595 50% entries? You need to tell the system through the Academic Calendar the dates for which it is to use in the refund process. In some cases for fees, you have to create a refund access sequence, pricing procedure and condition record to tell the system at want rate you should refund the rate. Let me know if you are trying to refund fees and I will address them further.

Here is an example of the Academic Calendar for our Fall refund at 100% -

2012 2011-2012 10 Fall 0575 Last day to drop a class with 100% Ref 08/29/2011 08/29/2011

Hi Bev,

My problem is this. For ex. I register a student to a program but I recognized that I chosed and registered to a wrong program. Immidiatelly I deregistered the student and then register to right program. I had deregistration reason, I chosed today's date etc. But when I run fee calculation, system calculate prize of both of the programs. I want to stop fee calculation of deregistred program.

As part of your condition table do you have booking status as one of your first parameters see below:

906 Acad. year/Session/Bkg Status/Fee Cat.

Booking Status will look at the registration record and if the student registration is not active it will not include it.
