Unplanned Depreciation - Group Assets

Dear All

I want to post unplanned depreciation for an asset which is assigned under group assets. How is it possible? On using t-code, aba, an errror - "Dep. area is assigned to a group asset. Fuction not possible" is coming?

What is the way to proceed in this situation?

Solved. Copy transaction type 640 and 650 and make new types. Limit Depr area "01" in these 2 new transaction types.

Please try with transaction type 643 or 653
