Unplanned Depreciation - Group Assets

Dear All

I want to post unplanned depreciation for an asset which is assigned under group assets. How is it possible? On using t-code, aba, an errror - "Dep. area is assigned to a group asset. Fuction not possible" is coming?

What is the way to proceed in this situation?
