ESS - Leave approval

Hi All,

We are using ESS with 2 level leave approval workflow, recently we have observed a strange behaviour.

In ESS after the first level approver approves the leave then it goes to the 2nd level approver, here if the 2nd level approves the request the flow is really fine.

In case if the 1st level approver approves a leave request (the same is not yet approved by 2nd level) and after some time there is another leave request in 1st level approvers UWL, when he opens the task for approving it opens in a new window (as normal operation) and in the new window(pop-up) at the top it displays a table as 'REQUESTS WAITING FOR APPROVAL' with the previous requests(which are already approved by this user but not by the 2nd level). How can we ensure that once a request is processed by a user it doesnt appear in the table.

Please help....

did you refresh the UWL? does it still appear? the task should be sent to the next approver and the workitem should be refreshed.
