master inspection characteristic

hi friends

i created master inspection characteristic "sample" in qs21

when i am assigning mic sample to operations in tasklist the error msg displayed

as " no valid version found for mic sample"

so i checked valid from date and version both are correct only.

then i assigned version number to version field of operation in tasklist .

for that it shows msg " mic sample version 1 is not released "

pls help me immediately to overcome this problem....
