IDES installation master missing for CRM EHP1 and ERP EHP5

Dear All,

I found that installation exports for IDES CRM EHP1 and IDES ERP EHP5 are available. Currently I'm using old IDES versions and I would like to install the new ones. The problem is that I've found only EXPORTS but I can't find installation master for these versions. Where are they?

Btw - can I update my currently installed IDES to newer versions like normal SAP installations?

Hi,

Technically it is possible to update IDES system but SAP does not recommend to upgrade IDES system. So, you should install a newer version instead of upgrade earlier version.

Installation master DVD's are also there on SMP. You can go to the link: http://service.sap.com/swdc Installations and Upgrades - I" IDES SOLUTIONS"

I've already checked that location on marketplace, but I couldn't find master dvds or even export dvds. Exports I've found by search: 'IDES ERP'. Could you share location or dvd number?

Second thing is: we're using also BW IDES but it's version is really old. NW 2004s etc, but I didn't find never version on market. Is it available or I have to update it anyway?
