Dear Experts,
I would like to know how do I set NULL value for a fields in DTW. In the ItemMD I have a field the field containt datas. How can I set NULL value for several items.
Thank you in advance.
Nghia
Dear Nghia,
You may try / or \ to set NULL through DTW.
Thanks,
Gordon

It's actually the / character, though. And this also seems to work for UDF's. I am working with SAP B1 v10.0. Keep in mind that this is only the case for updating data with DTW. When adding data you can just leave the fields empty.
Hope this helps for future visitors of this thread.

This solution of using a / character to set a fields value to blank also works for XD99 and MASS

Greetings!
Actually, the value of the field or column should be set to a single / - slash or forward slash character. I was actually researching on this and I ended up in this thread but I verified which actually worked for my requirement.
By the way I'm using SAP B1 8.82 (8.82.070) PL: 07 and DTW 88.2.0.
Just sharing. Thank you.

hi Nghia,
to set the field to be null, just leave it blank.
