Data Source 0TASKTYPE_TEXT

Hi

I'm trying activate 0TASKTYPE_TEXT in R/3 system and if I go to RSA3 it gives me values.

But when I go to BI and create a transformation for infoobject 0TASKTYPE the system tells me that 0TASKTYPE_TEXT is not active.

What more need I do?

First you need to replicate the datasource in BI system and once it is replicated, then activate it. If you are in Quality(QA) or Production(PRD) then you need to transport the data source from

DEV -> QA -> PRD

to activate it (but first you need to replicate in the resp. environment)

HI,

Try to replicate datasource trough RSDS then actiavte it or yu can actiavte trough program(rsds_datasource_activate_all for 7.0 DS for 3.x ds use : RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL)

Hi Dora,

First check what is the state of your text data source in BW system, if your data source is inactive then first activate it and after that create transformation on it.

If your data source is not updated then you will have to replicate it from source system.

Hi,

You will first need to replicate and activate the data source in the BI system and then activate the corresponding transfer structure using program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.

Only after that you will be able to use the datasource created in the R/3 system.

Hi,

Follow these steps:

1. Activate datasource in using RSA5

2. For replication, goto SE37 in the BW system and execute RSAOS_METADATA_UPLOAD. Put the indivisual datasource name and replicate it in corresponding system

3. Activate the datasource in BI system using BI content. Collect the object as "In data flow befor"
