Maintain Company Code for Material Management

I m trying to maintain company code for material management , however i could not indicate the following field since it grey out.

Logistic- General- Material Master-Basic Setting- Maintain Company Code for Material Management

Unable to update the following :

1. Fiscal year of previous period- FYr

2. Month of previous period- MP

3. Fiscal year of last period of previous year-FYr

4.Last month of previous year-L

I could only update the following :

1. Fiscal year of current period

2. Current period (posting period)

Please advice if i need to maintain any other confg or etc

Hi,

To update the following you have to go to OB52 transaction:

1. Fiscal year of previous period- FYr

2. Month of previous period- MP

3. Fiscal year of last period of previous year-FYr

4.Last month of previous year-L

Which allows these fields to modify . But please take FI consultant help in any modification .

Hi,

Use the t code OMSY where u can set the details for company code.

or use IMG path like

Img ->logistic general -> material master -> basic settings -> maintain ccode for MM

Hi,

Nothin to worry it seems.. Maintain only the current fiscal yr and posting period. Check whether backposting allowed.. System automatically brings the other data..

What do you mean by maintaining company code? SAP strongly recommends to create company codes from existing active company codes, so that all the existing setup carried forward to your new comapny code. If this answer is not sound good, calrify your requirement bit precisely.
