NW 04 SR1 Web AS SR1 (EP/KM SP9)

Dear all

I have found SAP's manual just like dictionary, it sounds more useful when you have been keen on the subjects. However, to a new guy, it is really messy. Can you someone on the planet can give some advise on how to do a simple thing, just want to define a SAP_R3 system as backend before we can create a simple SAP R/3 transactional iview.

Sorry I received no training on NW 04 SR1 portal at all, so the help materials appear to me a bit quite huge than enough.
