EREC: Unfortunately, the system is unavailable at the moment - Need HELP!

Hi,

During external canddiate registration,after registration i am getting the "Unfortunetly..system is unavailable" error. when i execute external candidate registration service, it's asking me for a uid and pw, none of the service uid/pw combination or SAP uid/pw is working.

Hi,

I dont have a straight forward answer. The developer debugged for few hours and found out we are missing an entry in one of the standard table. Unfortunately he is not around to provide exact table name and entry details.

Unfortunately, that is only the program raising the error but the problem is usually always before (somewhere in the E-Rec applications).

Hi,

you said the candidate was created. So check table HRP1001 if there is a full set of objects for the external candidate linked with each other candidate (NA), business partner (BP), user (US) all linked via a central person (CP).

Check the user of the external canididate if the reference user for the external candidate is set in the user profile on the roles tab. Check the role assignment to the reference user.

Take the ALIAS from the user and reset the password. Try to log on to the external startpage using the alias and the password you set and check if you still get an error message and if so check if there is a more informative message.

A general step you should do is running the SGEN (sap load generator) for Web Dynpros of components ERECRUIT, SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA). This is sometimes fixing issues with starting web dynpro applications. If this is not working and there is still an error try the log on to the startpage with activated authorization log.

in "REPORT_MESSAGE".

The main program was "SAPMHTTP ".

In the source code you have the termination point in line 109

of the (Include) program "CL_WDR_MESSAGE_MANAGER========CM00G".

Without the SLG1 log entry I assume the candidate object couldn't be created. Could you please check if your workflow user (WF-BATCH) has the appropriate authorizations like mentioned in the IMG step documentation 'Workflow in E-Recruiting':

Create a candidate for the user (for example, WF-BATCH). Use report RCF_CREATE_USER to do so. Create an e-mail address at the same time with this report. Then update the printer and authorization profile, in particular the authorization to change the status of E-Recruiting objects (P_RCF_STAT) - like eg. assigning the recruiter role to the user.

Hello Dhana,

Usually, that one is shown if a SICF serivce isn't configured correctly. Could you please check the IMG step documentation of:

Technical Settings -> User Interfaces -> Web Dynpro or Candidate -> Front-End Candidate -> Specify E-Recruiting Services (Web Dynpro ABAP)

There you have a list on the procedure and where you have to assign the unregistered service user.

The issue ended up being authorization issue for service user. But now once i hit register button..i get the below Internal server error
