Hi there,
Do you know if it is possible to prevent the system from creating the HTTP:// prefix when creating an URL within the Attachments assignment block?
We want to use the URL for linking to files which are stored on a shared network disc so we would like to create links like:
X:\folder\folder\folder\file.doc
The system creates in above situation the following link:
http://X:\folder\folder\folder\file.doc
Help is appreciated!

Danny Sprenger
Danny,
If you add ftp:// to the link instead of the http://, you can add a link to a file location.
I would always suggest to add links only to file locations, and not to a mapped directory, because what can be X:\folder can be Y:\folder for another user.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your replies.
@Robert: Including the file prefix doesn't change the reaction of the system, http:// is still added.
@Pieter: FTP is allowed but it changes the path from:
X:\folder\folder\folder\file.doc
to
ftp://X/folder/folder/folder/file.doc
Can I change anything in the formatting of the path to solve this?
