Prerequisite for replacing OLD DB to New HANA DB for analytic report.

HI Guru,

1. I am using vertica DB which is also support Colum table , if I replace into HANA DB what are the best practice.

2. If I am using normal Oracle DB or MSSQL server for analytic report, if I replace into HANA DB what are the best practice

Hi Manoj,

Still HANA is new, so we won't see much best practicing Technic, since you are using Vertica, you follow same process and before that you find how differ HANA compare to Vertica.

I think you will need to write your own best practices. Seriously, the HANA SPS3 has been released just weeks ago - how many implementations do you think went live during this time? -VR
