Hello All
My client requirement is as follows.
User want to upload the document in MIGO transaction. For this user will create DMS from CV01N transaction .Then in Object link User will enter a material Document number. after this when user go to /MIGO transaction he should be able to view all documents which he has creted from CV01N transaction.
Is it possible to do this? If yes then how to configure the system? If not is there alternative solution for the same?
For example if I Create DMS from CV01N transaction & Enter the DMS numbers in Material Master additional View, Document Data tab, then I can see all the document attached there from any transaction for eg. Inspection Lot, BOM,Usage Decision Screen.
Waiting for your reply.
Thanks.
Hi,
Incase you looking to attach document in MIGO transactions you will need to follow below steps.
Before you attach a documents in MIGO you have to do the below customization
In OAC0 check if a content repository is available.
In OAC2 enter the document type you want to attach
In OAC3 enter object type BUS2017 with your document type, content repository etc.
Please go thru the document below this will give you step by step procedure to attach document while doing GR.
Hope this is useful.

No,its not possible to achieve this requirement via DMS since object linking to MIGO object BUS2017 is not supported. More importantly,DMS is not a recommended solution for this scenario.
A more effective proposition is SAP Archiveink solution capable of perfectly meeting your needs. Please search the forum to understand how this solution can be configured.
NOTE:The key focus would have to be on convincing your customer in seeing the value addition by going in for Archivelink rather than DMS for the stated requirement.
