Deleting a Contact in SAP CRM using FM

Hi,

I have a requirement to delete a contact person from Web UI.I am using a FM 'BUP_BUPA_MASS_DELETE' for this I am getting an exception DELETION_NOT_ALLOWED ,sysubrc=1 for this on debugging I found out that an error is comming in the FM SAP Error: R11-600

Desc: Archive indicator not set for business partner

Internal: 153486

Please can anyone help me on this, what can be the solution, I tested the FM in SE37 and it was working fine.Thanks in advance for your help.

hi,

go to BP transaction and on STATUS tab check the ARCHIVE flag and try one more time. if you want to do programmatically use the FM BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE - CENTRALDATA parameters. hope it helps you.
