CRM and ERP Integration

Please i want to ask if i can use the customer master data of sales and distribution in sap ERP in creating segmentation in CRM directly without mapping the two business partners in CRM and ERP becuse i have millions of customer records in ERP that may be difficult to map it in the CRM system.
