PO printout before realese

Hi Team!

is it possible to print out a PO before realese or before release tab appears? I have elimanated all the configuration inside the Realese strategy, but it did not work.

We need to print the PO not ussing ME9L (that needs the PO realease), but we don´t want to affect the rest of the plants.

could it be possible, pls let me know.

Hi,

You have two options

Option-1:

As in Standard, PO Printing is possible after PO release and now as business needed, you can develop a DRAFT COPY OF PO PRINT OUT with help of ABAPer before PO release.

Option-2:

As you have more plants such as like 5000, 5001,5002,5003 & 5004 etcu2026..If needed PO print ONLY for a specefic PLANT without releasing PO,then do not add value plant 5004 in release characteristic in release statergies which in turn result---->when PO created with plant 5004 not subjected release statergy and you can print PO directly.

It is not possible to get print before release if a release strategy exist. If you wnnaat for a specific plant, the add plant as a parameter in the characteristic and dont assign the relevant palnt where you don't want to have release.

This is not good business practice of sending the PO without release as it could be misused.
