What is the difference between save to server & save to dimension?

Save to the server is saving the dimension sheet in the file structure of the server. However, this doesn't modify the dimension structure.
What do you mean by save to dimension? Are you referring to processing dimension?

Save to Server : This will save the member to Server but does not updates the dimension, we can call Process Chain later to do them from the backend .
Save to Dimension : This has to be processed only form the Front end.
