Need help df not finding reference file

Getting this error when trying to run data cleanse transform:

Transform <Base_DataCleanse>: SDKException DATACLEANSELIB_INVALIDFILE : The file, C:/Program Files (x86)/Business Objects/BusinessObjects Data Services/DataQuality/reference_data/dc_rules_financial_products_en.dat does not exist.

This is a valid path and filename. I also get a similar message when I try to use an excel spreadsheet or text file as the source file for a df. I specify the path for the file but I get an error saying it cannot find it.

I am using Designer XI 12.2.3

Hi,

Where is your job server? Is the job server able to access this path/filename? The reference path should be accessible to the job server.

I am running a client installed designer. Does the path still need to pont to the job server where the repositories are? Is that where the standard rules files would have been installed? I also noticed that drlrules.dat is not in the datacleanse folder on my client. Thanks for the reply.

Did you install the Cleansing Package (CP)? Point the reference files to the location where you installed the CP, and the path must be accessible to the job server. Hope this helps.
