PO delivery from multiple plant

HI All,

I have scenarion related to Intercompany STO, plant A (co-code A) will request material X from plant B (co.code-B) when plant B does not have stock the PO goes as unconfirmed, is it possible to check stock availability at plant B and deliver the stock from plant B if plant B has stock to deliver against the same PO.

here plant A is a receiving plant and plant B is a Vendor.

please inform what changes need to be done to PO and what settings/functionlaity to be used to achieve this.

What you meant to say is as follows:

Co. Code A Plant Z (Requires material) from Co. Code B Plant B. But plant B does not have sufficient stock avaiable you want to check if Plant A of Co. Code B has this stock.

If this is what your question is, then according to my knowledge, NO it is not possible. Because ATP check in SAP ERP system is checked on Plant basis. You need SAP APO or you need custom interface(s) to check that, the same would be like a small implementation.

Hi,

I agree, PO/STO gets created with the vendor based on supplying plant in PR and it will be unconfimed PO as no stock available in that plant at that moment. is it possible to ship the goods from different plant where stock is available by using partner function or any other functionalities.
