Order unit -> Stock keeping unit conversion reg

HI Friends,

My client is procuring the material in terms of "Metric Ton" but he is mainatining the stock as in "Number" in his plant.

Now we are using conversion factor for the above two units. Here we are facing the issue because of this conversion factor is dynamically changed based on the physical property of the material ( material property is changed due to climatic condition)

For ex.,

the conversion factor is 1 metric ton is equal to 100 nos.

Client is ordered 1 metric ton material.

Now he received 1 metric ton and accounted 100 nos in his stock as per theoritical. But practically the no of material may be 99 0r 97 0r 98.

So here the difference leads to create the problem for accounting.

To over come the above issue, client wants to receive the material by through two units (Metric ton & nos) while receiving and entering the two kind of quantities.

is it possible to receive the material in two units ( order unit & stock keeping units) with out concersion factor...

Basic unit of measure- ea

Ordering unit in material master - To

While doing MIGO in the quantity tab:

Qty in Units - xxx ea (this is base UOM default)

Qty in Order units -- xxxx TO( this is order unit)

The inventory should be up by ea and while MIRO it should appear in TO.
