Delivery Complete indicator and PO Release

Dear All,

My PO has been approved and the release indicator is released no Change which means user cant change the PO, now in case i have received partial delivery and supplier didnt commit to delivery the remaining Qty, in this case i need to set PO items as complete delivery, but once i m in ME22n system issue message "Purchasing document has release indicator Y (changes not possible)", is there away to change the PO wizout changing the configuration of release procedure.

If the release changibity indiactor is set to 1 we cannot set the DCI indicator.

This is standard and there is no modification for this .

You set the delivery completion indicator in the line item in the MIGO screen.

This will ensure that there will not be any material comming and will not allow further GR wrt to this PO.

Set this in customizing delivery completion indicator to be done at goods receipt than in PO.

Once you do this , you need not chagne the PO to set this

Hii,

If you keep release indocator 1 it would not allow you to change PO once it is been released.

So,instead of if you keep 6 it will ask you to release again if you make any changes in quantity or value.

In that case, You have to change the Release indicator other than '1'.

If you find this is as a rare case, you can Reset Release in ME29N.

However, in the business point of view, changing the Release Indicator would be the right choice.
