MIRO : Transaction in area 01 contradicts the net book value rule error

Hi Experts,

When I am trying to post MIRO , below error message is getting

Transaction in area 01 contradicts the net book value rule

Message no. AA660

Diagnosis

The document cannot be posted, as it is contrary to the net book value rule which is checked in area 01.

Procedure

This error usually occurs when you enter proportional values. The proportional values exceed the amount posted, for example, post capitalization of 100 but proportional depreciation to the amount 110. Check your entries and correct them if necessary.

Purchase order consists of 2 line items with same asset master for each line item .

But if we select either of one line item, it allowing to post MIRO.

In Asset master , respective

Asset has no values in fiscal year 2011 for area: 01 .

and also no posting for selected fiscal year.

This asset was newly created in this fiscal year only.

Also Net book value rule is having only postive values or zero allowed is there in configuration level under spro.

Kindly help me to rectify this error.

Dear

SPRO > Financial accounting> Asset accounting --> Valuation --> depreciation areas --> Define depreciation areas

Enter area 01.

set "All values allowed" for "Net Book Value
