Hi ,
I am trying to change the entry date of an Employee using tcode PA41.
I see "change in pay ' action appearing in the PA41 by default in the action type field , which I do not want , as its not an action which is related to entry / leave for an employee .
Can you tell me where is the configuration to set an action(s) as default in PA41 .

Please check the latest action performed for the employee.
It is suggested to perform PA41 before employee's first payroll.

Getting "change in pay action is NOT correct in PA41. It is meant for changing entry/leaving date only.
check whether you are trying PA41 exactily and see what all actions are there in PA40.
Including change in pay in pa41 is not standard and it is not suggested.
