Hi guys,
I have an issue in archiving. In the SARA transaction I have entered the archiving object done with the pre processing and followed with write. I got a message saying job is created successfully. After that I clicked on job overview icon, in that I selected a job and clicked on spool but I got an error saying no list available. In order to read the archive file I need to know archive file key but when I click on spool its giving me error. Please help me out.
Regards and thanks,
Veera

about what archiving object are you talking?

do you have a spool file in the job?
usually you have to indicate in the variant of the write job whether you want a log, and if you want it as application log or as list
if no list is available, then check the selection screen of your variant first.
If you indicated that you want a log, then check the the joblog for any messages. Maybe you didn't archive anything.
behind the Admin button in SARA you can ususally find the archives that got written

Hi Jürgen L,
I did not see anywhere to indicate a log in the write job. As you said behind the Admin button in SARA we can usually find the archives that got written, even I could not able to see this button. I can able to see the jobs which are archived but when I click on spool it saying no list available. One more thing I am new to this archiving, just four days back I started exploring the things. Thanks for your help in advance.
Regards,
veera.
