Where can I find the SAP Streamwork certificate?

Hi there,

I try to retrieve the SAP Streamwork certificate so I can import it into our ABAP environment.

Having a look at my certificate snap-in, I see only the SAP Passport CA certificate.

I don't see anything with the name SAP Streamwork, neither under "Personal Certificate"

nor under "Trusted Root Certification Authorities".

I accessed https://sandbox.streamwork.com using IE, and have access to the site.

Cheers, Rolf

Hi,

In Firefox this is easy:

- click oon the icon that is displayed before the https://sandbox...This will bring up a popup

- In the popup click "More Information..." - another popup will come up where the tab "Security" is selected

- Click on "View Certificate" - you will get another popup

- Select the "Details" tab

- Hit the "Export..." button

- Make sure you export the file as "X.509 Certificate (DER)"

You need to import this certifcate into STRUST in binary format.

Regards,

Rüdiger

BTW: In IE you can do the same by bringing up the popup "Page -> Properties" and click on the "Certificate" button in this popup.

Thanks Ruediger for the hint. That worked very well, I was able to export the certificate.

What I realised is, that STRUST looks different in EHP4 that in EHP5. I couldn't

see the group "SSL client SSL Client (Anonymo" in our EHP4 system.

What I wanted to ask is, if EHP4 is supported?

Trying to view SSL Client Identities on our EHP4 system gives me a "SAPCRYPTOLIB not installed",

what would explain, why I can't see the "ANONYM" Idendity.

I am not an expert on STRUST in the various NetWeaver Releases. But I would assume that the feature to make https calls out of NetWeaver is around for quite some time. So this should also work on EHP4 but I cannot guaranttee it.

I have summarized the steps to be made in a short [wiki article|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SWAPI/ImportingStreamWorkSSLcertificateintoABAPsystems], hope this will help importing the certificate.
