Access Denied. You cannot logon to an older version of the CMS

Hi,

I installed SAP Crystal Reports 2011, and installed SAP Crystal Reports Server 2008on another machine. When I was trying to logon to Enterprise from Crystal Reports 2011, I am getting this error. "Access Denied. You cannot logon to an older version of the CMS".

Does it mean CR2011 is not compatible with CRServer 2008? Can I get this working? Please help

Hi Lee,

Crystal Reports 2011 is only compatible with Crystal Reports Server 2011 or Business Objects XI 4.0.

If you need to connect to the repository then you would have to switch back to CR 2008.
