User Authentication failed error if login to IDM self service UI

Hi IDM experts,

I get User Authentication failed error if login to IDM self service UI.

error message:

"User Authentication failed"

your certificate will be mapped to your user id , so that you do not need to provide logon data manually.

can you please help in resolving this issue.
