Asset master data issue

HI All

While i am creating the asset through AS01 with out giving the useful life in depriciation tab

its not allowing me to save

can anybody tell me where do i need to make this field as optional

PS: i have already checked the screen layout of this asset master and i havent found anything relating to depreciation tab
