Validation Rule Help

Seniors,

Business Areas of all the line items in a document should either belong to the set1 or to the set2. As there are many manual transactions, IDOC postings, background jobs run simultaneously, ABAPer is finding it very difficult to write the code for this with proper temporary variable management.

Is there any other idea for this ?
