How does absences get linked with payroll?

Spro --> Payroll --> Payroll: India --> Absences
Maintain tables V_T554L , V_T554S_G,V_T554E and V_T554C
Check all the tables

If I understood your question correctly. then U want the palce where to enter the absences.
then Create the Absence type for IT2001 and write the rule as per SIKINDAR.
befoure that Work shedule for the employee shoould be genrated,

Absence are linked in payroll through Absence Valuation rule (T554C) which we group them to absences in V_554S_G. later in the PCRs TKAU** and TPAU** will considers the Absence as unpaid leave and paid leave which will be processed in Schema
