Hi Tanya,

PP01 is the T.code we to create Om Objects.

Through PP01 only we can create the relationships for the Objects.

Else we can define relationships via PO10,PO13...

Regards,

Sairam.

Hi,

SAP consultant has major part of configuration in OM.

-- Number range creation -- object wise & plan version wise or use number range as maintained in $$$$ subgroup taking into consideration client requirements.

-- Maintain 'Z' Relationships if required. (Probably this never happens)

-- Maintain 'Z' Evaluation Paths if Required in case of integration with Travel Management etc.

-- Maintain Integration Switch in Table T77S0 like Integration switch with PA, Recruitment ,cost Accounting.

-- Maintain Feature PRELAR,PRELI,PLOGI.

-- Create a Plan Version.

-- Collect the Org Strcture from client if they are maitaining, or Discuss with client about requirement.

-- If you get org structure from client then prepare BDC Or LSMW to upload data .

-- OR create Org unit, Position , Jobs, Reporting Structure in sheet & then Upload it in system.

The following will be there in OM configuration.

1. Number ranges settings for objects.

2. Creation plan versions.

3. Integration with personnel adminstraion and recruitment & integration with cost accounting and cost distribution.

4. in case any required "Z relationships" creation based on integration with appraisal, training and event and Travel mgt and other intra modules.

5. Evaluation paths

6. if implementing shifft planning integration with Time management

7. In case of using Matrix relations creation of matrix organization and maintainence of matrix relationship.

Based on above you can understood defineing different object types and relationps and other OM info types importance.
