how to get default value fiscal year period in Variable

Hi All

i have created one query in that i made one variable for fiscal period.now during execution of report. i want that current fiscal year and month wil come by default in variable. if user need he can change the value of the fiscal year period. kindly let me knwo how to get current fiscal year period value as a default
