AS02 asset managmt-> Location: Filter F4 check table by append field value

Hello,

I added an append field "active" in the table t499s. Now I would like to filter the F4 search help of the location field in AS02 to exclude the non active locations. Is this possible without modification?

I suppose it should be possible to add a search help exit to search help H_T499S to achieve your goal and filter the result list.

Good idea but unfortunately there is no search help exit defined in h_t499s.

Of course there isn't... you will have to create one and program the filtering yourself.

Read the help for the field 'Search help exit' and check out function module F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE to see how it's done.
