Hello guys, need help for saprouter used in WAN.

Some user connect via saprouter and receive a disconnection after 5 minutes of total inactivity.

Do you have any suggestion?

Something I can check?

I have used the option -W and -C to an higher value. But disconnection still persists.

thanks to all for the help

Hi,

If there are getting disconnected because of inactivity then it might be because of session time out parameter set in SAP. Please check it.

Thanks

Hello Sunny,

thanks for the answer. But the symptom should be the same using saprouter in LAN.

But this strangely does not happen and a telnet to public_ip saprouter_port stay there without interruption.

Where can be the problem?

Anything else in between?

A firewall perhaps?

Problem solved. It was a timeout set on the fortigate that disconnect everything after 300 seconds.
