Parameter values in Crystal Reports

One of my customers has a problem with his Crystal Reports XI. He is the only one with this problem, his colleagues experience no problems.

When he uses a report (or creating a new one) he has no problems, but when he uses a parameter value and he refreshes the data, a notepad document appears (see attached document).

When there is no parameter value in the report, everything works fine.

Things I've tried to solve the problem:

- Reinstall of Crystal reports

- Log on as a different user on his pc

- New windows profile

Somebody any idea what causes this?

Moved to Report Design forum, nothing to do with DB Connectivity.

Try upgrading to CR XI R2, it's free, just use your XI keycode to install it.

Check his version of the Java SDK/JDK. The Parameter UI is Java based, he's likely missing the Java runtime 1.4 I beleive it is.
