Uninstall SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EhP1

Hi everyone,

So i want to uninstall Solman because i choose some bad option during the installation...(it's just a "one shot" install, no final license installed, no users connected, no rfc connexion,etc...)

If i do a new install after the uninstall...all parameters will be cleared or I must do some clean up manually ?

If someone do that in his past, thanks for your help.

Regards,

A new install is already running...with good parameters...I'll come-back to say if my new install finish sucessfully or not...but i think there is no probleme to do a new one...(at this time is already step 11 of 53)

To be continued...

Yes, I followed the installation guide to 'install' solution manager...So I'll try to uninstall SolMan with sapinst.

I'll come back to say if that work or not

One thing more...SolMan was installed with MaxDB, should I uninstall MaxDB before or after or the uninstall take in charge ?

Uninstall process with sapinst will prompt for uninstalling the database software and dropping the database as well.

Hello,

Uninstallation takes charge of de-installation of 'SAP instance', 'DB' and 'DB instance'. Then you have to uninstall 'DB software' using MAXDB installer program. Exact procedure you will find in installation guide.

Thanks

Hello,

Did you follow the installation guide to 'install' this solution manager ?

If yes, then the same guide can be used to 'uninstall' it too. Just follow the guide. You yourself will get to know if something needs to be cleaned up manually, like env, registry, folders etc.

Thanks
