bmp file attachment in Plant Maintenance Task List

Hello Friends

In Maintenance task list I would like to attach a bmp file and when a Preventive maintenance order is created with reference to the task list ,I should be able to view the bmp file attachment in the Preventive maintenance order .Please suggest me how to achieve this.We dont use DMS(document management system).

Hi,

I also had a similar requirement, but to access URLs. Task List and Maintenance Orders are two different Objects. So you can not view any doucment attached in one object from the other.

There are 2 options to handle this.

One is to go for SAP Modification by using exits like IWO10002 (PM maintenance order: Customer check for order release).

Second option is to use Document Management. Create a document, attach it as a PRT to the Operation. Then this wll be accessible from all Maintenance Orders using the Task List.

Hi,

You can attach it at order level after selecting task list for reference. select 'services for objects'-> create-> new attachment.

You will be able to see that attachment later on.

Hi

If I attach ,lets say 10 bmp documents in the maintenance task list with 'services for objects'-> create-> new attachment.

,is it going to affect the performance of the system.
