I want to sell 50 SAP B1 licenses to my customer who run a lot of franchises. Each franchise will have access to their own Business Partners and use diary management and full CRM. They do not need access to accounts, MRP or stock control.
Does anyone know how Business Partners can be Locked Down so only the owners can see them. We don't want the other franchises to be able to see other records other then their own.
Thanks
Hi,
B1 authorization can only validate on form level. All field level authorization can only be done through SDK or SP.
Thanks,
Gordon

HI
Using the 'Authorisation',you can restrict the other users on viewing the BP for their unrelated process.

hi
Open the Authorisation window, select the appropriate users and select the 'Business Partner' at right and give the authorisations as "No Authorisation"....so that they cannot open Business Partner Master Data....
Like wise, assign the "No Authorisation" to the modules whichever you dont like them to access...
Note:Authorisation cannot be controlled for super users as they have full access
Revert me for further clarification...
