Craeting cofiles and data files

Hi,

Is there any way of creating the datafile and cofile for a TR without releasing it.

I need to create these files manually to import the objects to another non connected SAP system, but I want this to be done, without releasing a TR and creating the files for that.

So in short i want to create the data file manually for an object.

Regards,

Jithin.

Probably not, without nasty tricks.

If you don't want to release the original request, try creating another one of type "transport of copies" containing the same objects (use SE03 tools) and release that one.

If I release a TR, i have to import it to somewhere right? otherwise it will show dependancies for the next TR's containing the same object right? I want to avoid this as i cannot import this TR to my test or production systems.

So is there any other nastry trick to create the data file?

No, you don't have to import it anywhere. The request can be removed from import queues where it might have been added automatically. I don't see a dependency problem here, as the objects are still locked inside the original request (that you don't want to release), and you do not import the "transport of copies" in the same landscape.

I created the transport of copies, but however when i realease this TR, this TR comes in the version management of the Objects. Is there anyway we can get rid of that too.

When i release these Transport of Copy TR, I dont want them to appear in the version management of the Objects included in the TR.
