New pricing routine

Hi,

I have created a new pricing routine.I have to display condition type 'Z123' if the sales order is active & remove the condition type if Contract is Inactive.

I copied pricing routine 24 for this & did a select on T683V,but the changes do not reflect in the tcode VA42.

Please suggest if my approach is correct.

The changes in the new routine are working fine for Tcode VA41.

In tcode VA01,when we create a new sales order,the pricing condition Z123 is not showing.

The requirement is pricing condition does Not show when a new contract is created through VA41 & the same pricing condition should show when a new sales order is created through VA01.

Please suggest.Thanks.

Apologies for the delayed response.

The one possibility which I can visualize of for this kind of system behavior, is may result due to the pricing procedure getting determined for Sales order (VA01) is different from your contracts (VA41). To check this. In condition tab for the respective documents Sales order/contract click on Analysis button and take note of the pricing procedure getting determined for the transaction.

Well,I had the following requirement:

1.We create a contract using VA41,in the conditions tab,pricing conditions Z123 does not show.This was managed by copying routine 24 into a 900 routine.I checked the value of the contract type(AUART) & set knmv-kschl <> 'Z123' in the routine.

2.We create a sales order in VA01,'copy by reference' to the contract created above.Now when we view the pricing conditions,Z123 is NOT displayed,since its a copy of the contract.

The requirement request was to show Z123 in Sales order.We could not work this out using routines.So the functional created 2 different pricing conditions for contract & sales order.

We were looking for a workaround with the routine,so that we could have avoided creating two pricing conditions.

I hope I explained the requirement correctly.Now that the requirement is closed,I closed the thread too.

Did you activated the routine in your enviroment? You can execute the report RV80HGEN.

Thanks for your reply.I forgot to activate the new routine in VOFM tcode.Its working fine now.
