New pricing routine

Hi,

I have created a new pricing routine.I have to display condition type 'Z123' if the sales order is active & remove the condition type if Contract is Inactive.

I copied pricing routine 24 for this & did a select on T683V,but the changes do not reflect in the tcode VA42.

Please suggest if my approach is correct.
