Anyway to recalculate target cost in production order?

Hi

I had a production order for which I did confirmation, GI, GR. In the order I was able to see the target cost. I ran KKS2 for variance calculation. There too I find the target cost, actual cost and variance. But after few minutes what happened I dont know, No target cost is coming. I checked the order, KKS2. everywhere the it is zero. I reversed KKS2, and ran etc etc , but no success. Pls note settlement is not run.

What could have happened? How to bring back or recalculate the target cost?

Pls suggest. All these in production client and user is sitting on head...

Thanks

Sounds strange.. Check if the Varince key is removed from the Prod order... Also see if released Std cost exists before GR happened

The variance key is there and material has a standard cost estimate.

Do u have any idea if the target cost can be recaptured? How?

Hi

One more problem I observed in another order for the target cost.

The production order is fully confirmed, GR, GI done for all the qty as per order. Treat everything as ideal. No reversal, no force close, no short close etc etc. In such case how come the target qty is coming less than the actual qty in the cost analysis screen for one of the component?

E;g, The order qty for header F1 is 100 pc. For this component C1 required is 500 pc. I confirmed and did GR for 100, GI of C1 for 500 pc. Now when I am checking the cost analysis, the target cost is coming less for C1. Analysed furthur, found that it is because of low target qty for C1. The qty is not 500, but say 200 pc. How come this happen when the GR is for complete 100 pc and as per order & BOM the required qty is 500.

Thanks
