Hi Monalisa,

Well your all process flow is right exactly as our client also have.

Before that you have to keep in mind that while you convert planned order to production order you have to check it in the production plant as well that the requirement is generating or not OK.

Then, secondly before Goods Receipt you have to do the Conformation in CO15 or CO11N OK.

Then, you can do the GR.

You are exactly to the mark and perfect i hope you did good.

Dear Mona,

In step 6,I presume you have converted the planned order into production order in the planning plant itself.

After this you can check the whether in the production plant are you able to see the production order and not any planned

orders.

Also confirmation and GR against the order should be made in production plant and the stock gets updated in planning plant

automatically.

check these steps.

Dear Mangal / Madhu / Abhijeet,

Thanks a lot to all of you for your comments and advice. The scenario which I have used to test this is ---

Three materials -- A , B , C Plant - 1000 (planning plant ) 2000 (Production plant)

A - FG ( BOM item is B ) Plant - 1000 (Planning plant)

B - HALB ( BOM item is C) Plant - 1000 (planning plant ) 2000 (Production plant)

C - RAW Plant - 1000 (planning plant ) 2000 (Production plant)

B is produced in alternative plant i.e production plant 2000. to produce B raw material C is required which is in planning plant 1000.

I did the stock transfer plant to plant Mov type 301 . my doubt is --

1. whether mrp will generate pur req for this or I have to do it manually by stock transfer.

Mangal,

whether in the production plant are you able to see the production order and not any planned

orders - its working fine

I am not able to do the GR in production plant 2000 . ERROR is - Document 10886439 does not contain any selectable items

but I am able to do the GR in Planning plant 1000 and stock is also getting updated.

Please tell me why?

Hi,

whether mrp will generate pur req for this or I have to do it manually by stock transfer

If you run the MRP with another spl proc key in MM of Production plant which is asking to get the stock form Planning plant then system will create stcok transfer Pur. req & against the same you can receive the component C in Production Plant.

Monalisa,

If you want MRP to generate requirement for component C in planning plant (1000), you have to create a special procurement key with 'withdrawal from an alternative plant' option. Create this SPK with 1000 as issuing plant and assign this SPK to material master record of material C in plant 2000.

Hope this helps.
