Hi

We have implemented SAP B1 since last two year.

Now we want to create one more company DB for reporting purpose

do we need separate license /EULA for new DB?

can I use same Licenses which was purchased earlier (EULA is for other DB)?

Finally, i concluded that Nos. of Machine Installation (SAP B1 Client) is not link with Nos. of SAP B1 Licenses.

We can install SAP B1 client in x number of machine even we have few licenses.

Only max. two users can work on same User ID in same DB.

Hi Nilesh Shah,

There is no restriction for your concern.

B1 is only checking the login user. If they have valid license, it will be no problem from which client to log in.

Thanks,

HI

No need to buy new license for each DB.

You can use the current license for the new DB.

Hi kambadasan

This is not same DataBase as it was implemented, is almost different with new COA & All Masters.

We are working for something on Business Analysis where we have somany other details from our subsidiaries where they are not in SAP B1.

HI

Then Create a new company and assign the Current license file to it.

After that,You have to check whether the number of Users are sufficient to access this database.

If the number of users are insufficient to access this database, then you have to request a new license file for increasing the number of users for that license.

HI

You can take the Backup of the current database and restore it as Another database and you can use it for reporting purpose.

No need for new license..

New license will be required only when the users are exceeded and Hardware key changes....
