Admin roles disappear when accessing the portal from the central instance

Hi everyone,

I have a strange situation occuring when I try to log on to our portal from the portalserver itself (the central instance). When I log on here it seems that I have noe roles assigned to my admin user. All I see is Welcome My Name, the search field below this and the three links; help, personalize and log off at the right side.

But when I log on from 'outside' all is fine and all content shows fine.

Do any of you have any idea of what this can be?

    Hi,

    Check whether the Desktop assigned when you login as super admin or admin is correct in master rule collection. Also what you mean by central instance? is it the FQDN URL? Are you logging in with the same user name as you do from outside (What is mean by outside?)
