When i tried to create an inspection plan for a material, The system is showing a pop up which has many task lists with different usages.From the list I need to select one and create the plan.
What is this and how come this list is activated

1st Maintain task list type and material type. then you create task list and select proper uses according to inspection type

This is use to select the inspection plan based on the inspection type. The SAP system offers you inspection plans for different uses, for example, model inspection, goods receipt inspection, goods issue inspection, material inspection and audit. The system takes the task list usage that you defined into account when selecting task lists.
This Task list type is assign in the customizing of Inspection type. Say for std inspection type 01 Goods receipt insp. for purchase order & Goods receipt inspection from production.Task list type is 5 Goods receipt. For 08 STock transfer it is 9
