Hi,
Release strategy for contracts is very same as PO
please use this link for entire guide
As per my knowledge SAP Standard only 8 level of release is possible . The number of release code that can be added in a release strategy is limited to 8 .

Hi,
It is possible to implement release strategies for contract also. The same way as for PR's/PO/s.
Under transaction OLME > contract > Release procedure for contracts - you can create here.
And regarding the number of levels - you can define maximum of 8 levels of release strategy.
In customising you only have eight possible entries because the system design dictates that
as each step is released, on the database level the field EKKO-FRGZU
is updated (for each step)
I hope this helps.

Ashwini.

Hi,
Release strategy for contract is same as that of PO where we use the same table as PO i.e CEKKO and create characteristic depending upon requirement regarding the limit of netprice etc..
And as per my knowledge we can have upto 7 levels of release.
Thanks
