Batch and Characteristics wise stock

Former Member

Friends,

I created characteristics with CT04 and assigned it to material in classification view.

My client requirement is to display material stock with batch and characteristics.

Which table or transactions is there to see such stock?

Sandy,

Using transaction MMBE you can see the stock according to batch as a selection condition.

There is no transaction which directly gives you stock according to characteristic. The workaround here would be

1) Go to transaction BMBC.

2) Go to classification tab.

3) Search batches with desired values of characteristics for this material.

4) use this material number and batches that you get from BMBC transaction as selection condition in MMBE transaction and get the information that you are looking for.

If you need this information frequently, go for a custom development,

Dear sandy

For display of stock according to batches your material shall be batch managed i.e. in material master classification tab you have to assign batch class=23. Then you have to create a batch using T code MSC1n & populate batch characteristics. after that when you make production GR with that batch no or update stock of the material with that batch you can see your stock batch wise in any standard SAP report i.e. MMBE or MB52. Check & reply for further help

Sandy,

Transaction MMBE, MB52 & MMCL will show batch wise stock in a plant & SLOC. Further when you right click on the batch inside MMBE and click the batch classification option you can see the characteristics.
