Plant wise Trail balance....

Hi Experts,

My client having 5 manufacturing plants under the same company code, He want plant wise Trail balance for all plants,How can it is possible..

Not possible to create Each plant as a profit center, because there is no revenue for that particular plant,

Please advice how can it possible....

In report F.01 you can view business area wise/Plant wise balances. Kindly check.

In that report we have the option of Business area, Ok if i assign plant to business area,

Assests--

I will get by assigning the plant in asset masters.

Expenses-

I will get the assigning Business area in Cost centers.

My concern is How i will get the revenues....Because for that particular Plant they dont have any revenues.....

In ECC 6.0 this possible to use business area concept?

Please suggest.....

Not clear.........

If no revenues are booked for a Plant then how one can get.. There is no sales being executed from that particular plant I suppose

Yes...For manufacturing plants there is no revenues....sales are happeing from different selling plants....

My Confusion is how the system will pick the Revenue, vendors AND Liability parts to that particular plant level.

It is possible to get Trailbalance at Plant level?????

As I have mentioned plant wise trail balance is possible.

however GIGO principle is followed everywhere what you enter only will generate in the report.

Check in OB65 whether Bus Area wise funcitionality is activated or not.

But still my confusion is..

Trail balance means.....

Revenues

Expenses

Assests

Liabilities...

At plant level how can it possible to Get all there values... mainly Revenues ..because at manufacturing plant level there is no sales means no revenues.....how the revenues will come......also I am bit worry about Vendor balances.....

We are using 4.7.....

Please explain how it will happen...

Hi Reddy Anna

Simple n Sober answer is: Out of Revenues, Exp, Assets & liabilities - Whatever is available at a Plant level will be displayed

i.e. Few plants will display Expenses, Assets, Liab & NO Revenue where as Some Plants may have All the 4 (Seling Plants)

So whatever is posted in the system at Plant level will be visible

when you are going for plant wise financial statement, and you business area is as equal to plant.

in case of your requirement you need to post each finance entry business area wise(plant wise ) separate then only it is possible to get following report

1 revenue

2 exp

3 balance sheet
